Orion
02-17-2005, 05:17 AM
The scene opens with Orion thinking about his tag-team match tonight, and just then a thought enters his mind about what he has gone through to get to this point. About how he worked his way up from being almost nothing, living for revenge from his brother, to being one of the biggest names in the wrestling biz. The setting fades to *about ten years earlier in the city of Superior Wisconsin. We see an average-sized suburbian home, this is the home of Orion's family. The flashback cuts to a *young Orion, aged at about 10. He is sitting on the front steps with a sad/mad look on his face, his father comes up behind him and tries to console him.

His father: It's going to be alright, I know that I will be gone for awhile, but don't feel bad.

Orion: Why do you have to go anyways? You don't NEED to leave.

Orion's Father: Yeah, I do need to leave, its for my business. For me to make a living, I need to be where I need to be.

Orion looks away as his father gets into the car and drives off.

Orion: *to himself* you need to be here.

As his dad leaves he has the same look on his face as before and out of nowhere his brothers come up from behind and pin him up against a wall.

Brother #1: What are you gonna do? Dad is gone for a long time, and all you have to keep you company is us. We are going to have a FUN time while he is away on business.

Orion stands there pinned to the wall unflinching and begins to look away and his brother punches him in the stomach.

Brother #1: Do not look away from me!

Orion looks at them and looks away and they punch him in the stomach again.

Brother #2: You should have listened, that was a bad move there...bro.

They let him crouch down on his knees and they push him down and kick him and when Orion is sprawled out on the floor, they proceed to kick him repeatedly in the stomach. Then they roll him on his back and crouch down beside him.

Brother #1: You could make this much easier on yourself, but now you leave us no choice.

They take him and pick him up and put him into the small closet underneath the stairs and they bar the door. The scene fast forwards about three years later when his brothers have left the house to get out on their own and Orion confronts his father for what had taken place everytime he left the house on business.

Orion: Dad, I need to talk to you about a few things.

Father: Yeah, what do you want to talk about?

Orion: You know about when you used to leave the house for business a few years ago?

Father: Yeah, what happened?

Orion: Every time you left, they would torment me and beat me.

Father: Why am I just hearing about this now?

Orion: You said that you needed to be where you needed to be. You didn't even KNOW where you needed to be!!! I hold you responsible for everything that they have done to me...and I will have my revenge on them as well.

His father gets up and stands by Orion and tries to put his hand on his shoulder and Orion pushes it off.

Orion: Now it is my turn to leave you when you need someone the most. I am gone, you will never see me again. If you see those two punks that did that to me, tell them that I am looking for revenge. And I will not stop until that has been fulfilled.

Orion goes and picks up a small envelope from the table and a duffel bag and walks out the door. The next time we see Orion is when he walks up to a building in Tokyo Japan with a sign over the door that reads "Kyo Hatashi School of Eastern Grappling Arts" written in English and Japanese. He walks through the door and finds his way to a room with traditional Japanese artifacts and in the middle of the room sits an older Japanese man.

Orion: Hello?

Old Man: What are you doing here? I am closed.

Orion: Then why was the door open?

The old man turns and looks at Orion.

Old Man: Because... I forgot to lock up. Now, go away!

Orion: I must have the wrong place, I am looking for Kyo Hatashi. The great Japanese wrestler, but I will not trouble you any longer.

Orion starts to walk away when the old man stops him.

Old man: Why do you seek Kyo Hatashi?

Orion: I want to learn his style of wrestling.

Old Man: Why didn't you just ask if I was Kyo Hatashi instead of beating around the bush like that. I have a feeling it will take a loooooong time to train you.

The old man smirks and starts to laugh.

Orion: You mean..you are Hatashi? It's an honor!

Hatashi: *pauses* ...a veeery long time.

The flashback fades out as DeMarco walks into the room.

DeMarco: Orion? Are you ready?

Orion: Yeah, I am now.

DeMarco: What were you thinking about just now?

Orion: About the past, about how I got to where I am now.

The scene fades out as they walk out of the locker room and head to the ring.

OOC- None of the events in this RP are based on actual events, and please bear with me on this one, i was watching Kill Bill Vol. 1 and thought that an RP about Orion's past would be good for character development and stuff, lol
