Why does my glowing signature look different than the code s

I used the glowing code from http://www.wrestlecrazy.com/misc.php?do=bbcode#glow and yet for some reason it shows up differently. Note how easy it is to read the letter in the example, but when I put it on my profile the glow overtakes the letters black color and makes it hard to read. Whats up with that?

The font that is used I believe happens to be in bold...

If you also bold the letters in your signature, it should work the way you expected it!
