Over the years we have had to unwittingly say goodbye to many a great and impressive wrestler, but if you could bring one back who would it be?

I would personally like to witness the return of the great Hollywood Hulk Hogan so he could reek havoc on the WWE and annoy Vince McMahon.

I would also like to see Hogan return. However i would really like Big Show to come back to WWE, along with Brock Lesnar.

Ok...I thought Big Show was just on a break or something...and when did Lance Storm leave??Man...I guess I've really been out of things the past three or four weeks. For those of you who have never been through it...pregnancy makes you VERY tired.
Anyway...I would love to see Hogan return. I would also love to see George "The Animal" Steel come back as well. Is it just me does does Eugene kinda remind you of George?? Or am I the only one old enough to remember George? :drunken:

Big Show is nursing his wounds, after wrestling with injuries for a while. Lance Storm, good question...I thought that they just quit using him...just like they're used to doing.
I really want Brock Lenser to come back. PLEASE BROCK!!! We need someone to whoop ass. I would enjoy The Rock on a full-time basis. Dream come back would be Bret of course, but he wont. If he does, I will probably skeet on my TV.

Here are some answers for ya...

Storm: got sick of being misused and retired to do the Agent/Trainer thing.

Dreamer: See above, Might be a trainer at OVW.

Big Show: like stated, he's off healing and not currently on TV.

And yes I’m old and remember George very well. Watched him in WWF/WCW even back in NWA. Believe it or not he even had a match against the Rock grandpa 'High Chief' Peter Miava.

George Steel: does guest appearance on cards featuring 'old classic' stars. I’ve read he took part in a tribute show down in Fla. last month for a old AWA star that was well loved in that area. (Didn’t catch the tribute’s name sorry.) But I still can't believe he's still going he's got to be in his 60's.

Papa Shango: Come On Ad...? Died and came back with another HOT gimmick... "Pimpin' Ho's" - "SO Smoke Me a Fatty, for this Pimp Daddy" ring a bell anyone...LOL! (Or was that a former 'Kish gimmick?)

Dean Melinko: IS a WWE road Agent and I saw him on Raw the week Kane attacked Hardy from behind backstage. He was one of the guys that pilled Kane off Matt. I've read he also helps Fit Finley train and organize the women’s division.

Hogan: Haven't read much about his return to the ring of late. Will he go to TNA? Will he do cards in Japan? Don't know yet, Last I saw of Hogan he was helping his little girl Brooke get her singing career off the ground. (Might even do some sort of MTV reality series like Ashlee Simpson is doing now. But that's just rumor and I doubt it was a read bit of news.

Steve Blackman: haven't heard of him being in the ring in over a year when he tagged with 'headbanger' Mosh in a little Indy fed on the east coast last year. (I'm not positive it was Mosh, but that what I think it was, it was a year ago I read that. LOL)

Spanky: Working RoH I believe.

Jeff Hardy: I've heard 2 different stories on this.

1. WWE wants him back but won't bother taking him back till he voluntarily goes into rehab and gets clean (he says he doesn't have a problem, WWE says he MUST prove he's clean to be resigned)

2. Just read 2 days ago WWE has just registered "The Hardy Boyz" as a registered trademark name. Sound fishy to me, maybe Jeff finally went into rehab. Hell it worked for Jack and Kelly Osboure right?

Austin: Still rumors, he's trying to come to terms with a match with Goldberg in Japan. IF this does happen that don't bode well for either Austin or Goldberg in WWE's standing. You know Vince he won't allow Austin to use the name "Stone Cold”, as that was the sole reason he quit. Austin wanted to have creative control of his name and marketability in other media such as a movie career. And Vince didn't cave.

X-PAC: Don't know, don’t CARE!

Hope this helps a little.

Raven
My all time favorite wrestler, best promos of all time. Bring him back and let him have creative control(he did in WCWs glory days) give him a great feud.

DDP
Another one of my favs, have him either A) Feud with Randy Orton, which would work perfectly because they have alot to feud about,1. Orton is using DDPs finisher,2. DDP is good friends with Foley. 3. Orton is alot like a young DDP) make him Evolutions mouthpeice, I know he has a bad back and keeping him off it would me a good thing.

Dean Melenko
Bring him in as a Heel to feud with Benoit, Benoit and Melenko only had a few matches, i remember one on Nitro that was great. Melenko is one of the best Technitions of all time(Top 3 in my book)

Sean Waltmen(X-Pac)
Would be a great addition to Evolution.....really all i can say.

Jeff Hardy shouldnt be back in the WWE, He is a terrible High Flyer, Has No Charisma, Isnt even that over(He got booed in ROH)

Jeff Hardy shouldnt be back in the WWE, He is a terrible High Flyer, Has No Charisma, Isnt even that over(He got booed in ROH)

Man how I laughed when he got booed in ROH. Even better when the crowd started shouting "We want Matt".

I would like to see a return for....

Jerry Lynn - I know he was only there for a short time and they wasted him, but if they could bring him back and put him in the intercontinental/US title picture it would give him a head start. Then after a while they could push him into world title shots. (Ha! never gonna happen with Vince McMahon around).

Lance Storm - This guy always had the potential to be the next Bret Hart or Chris Beniot, but the WWE felt it a better idea to push fat sloppy guys like Mark Henry and give Storm a "boring" gimmick. Great work guys!

Ken Shamrock - I was just watching an old WWF tape the other day and I'd forgotten how good this guy was. I think it would be a great idea to bring him back on Smackdown (because good god do they need it), have him win the title off Eddie, feud with him untill Angle is ready to make an in ring return and then set up a historic Shamrock vs. Angle feud.

in reality... no that would not make a good match... Not if it took place in WWE it would look like every other Heat/Velocity match.

slowed down to Vince's liking... :pale:

Vince will learn When and IF Impact get good ratings it's because it features the X-Division not the Heavyweights.

I would like to see

Hogan:Just miss his wierd catchphrases and his classic wrestling.I hered that Vince Mcmahon has said that Hogan will not be back on the roster but might make the odd pop up.But relationship with vince is good and he is a possibility for the hall of fame in california next year.

Brock Lesnar:Smackdown really need him back. Now that Kurt Angle and the big show are out of action they need some big wrestler going for the title not someone like JBL.

Road Dogg:Felt his was a good wrestler and could help Billy Gunn get his career back on the right tracks

DDP:Always a great wrestler in my book.Felt he was wasted last time in the wwe but if they use him properly he would be one of the best on the roster.

Bret Hart:Great wrestler and a legend.

Kronic:Brian Adams and Brian Clarke would be a good tag team addition on either show.

There is more but can`t think of them all.

Bret Hart has publicily stated that as a wrestler he's done, that's not to say he wouldn't mind working in front of the cameras at some point. It would be nice if he finally did come back to WWE in a announcer/manager role since he won't be wrestling anytime soon (but look at HBK, so never say never).

Kronik, as I reported last week in a post about Kronik. I was a fan of the pair known as Kronik. After their release from WWE in 2001, they traveled to Japan and became tag champs there, until Adams was injured very badly, and even thought he did recover he was not able to wrestler again, And Clake a very close personal friend of Adams vowed not to continue working without his 'Partner' and thereby retired from professional wrestling.

I as a fan was shocked to read this as I had always hoped thay would make it back to the WWE.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but they didn't have a very long stint in WWE in 2001, i remember they came in with Stephen Richards, and Stephen was mad with taker for taking apart the RTC 3 or so months prior, and Kronik fought with Taker and Kane for the WCW tag team titles at No Mercy. but straight after that they're gone? did they return after that?.
There were a few teams around the InVasion up until Backlash (hogan vs hhh)time, and all of which went missing.
Kronik,
Stephen Richards and Justin Credible
Sean O'Haire and Chuck Palumbo
Tommy Dreamer and Sean Staziak paired a few times on RAW and worked well together.
i also thought that the combination of Tazz, and Spike Dudley worked well even though it was short lived. (who could forget when they beat Test, and Booker T for the titles?)

First off I was really surprised to see that alot of you out there remember the past generation of wrestling I relally liked that alot but i'm going whith Ron Simions for those of you who don't know ron he is known as Farooqo I think the WWE didn't let his charecter achive the hightes it could have I thinke he could've easilei became the Undispided Champ. Another guy I would like to see comebake is Perry Saturn I think he had a good thing going whith his carachter only thing i din't like was the mope thing that was a littel FREAKEY if you ask me but in all i think he could be championship materil. and another thing for all of you Jeef Hardy fans I don't see him comeing back any Time soon seeing that the WWE has TERMINADED HIS CONTRACT because He WAS CAUGHT WHITH POT!!!!

it would have to be have to be Bret Hart but since he can't wrestle, there wouldn't be much point. The wrestler i would bring back, if i could have him in is his prime, would be Ted Dibiase. I loved the Million Dollar Man gimmick and his ring work was always very good, plus his promo's were very entertaining and inventive. Barry Windham would be good to, as would Arn Anderson.

Everyone is entitled to their opinions here and I, for the most part, respect the opinions given in these forums but sometimes I shutter when I read some of them wondering what in the world people are thinking. I think I read that Perry Saturn could be good championship material; Road Dogg was a good technical wrestler; Kronik was awesome; and DDP would be great? There is no story what so ever that could make Perry Saturn an appealing character in pro wrestling. Road Dogg is the poster boy for personality creating success over skill. I sat in the crowd for Kronik v. Undertaker and Kane and I wanted to pull my eyeballs out of my skull. Kronik made Kane look like Lou Thez that night. DDP was a make shift champ when the WCW ship was sinking. He could talk himself out of a wet paper bag but wrestle his way out? But again, everyone is entitled to their opinions as I just stated mine.
The only wrestler out there that could make a serious impact on television is Brock Lesnar. There is not a better total package out there is wrestling than the next big thing. The loss of him on Smackdown was a fatal blow and he is the only one wrestler now that could help that brand.
As for my personal feelings I would like to see Raven and D-Lo Brown come back. I thought they were good hands and although may never have been championship material they good put on good matches and tell a story in the ring. I was also a fan of Ken Shamrocks when he was around. I thought although poor on the microphone his in ring work spoke for itself.
Brock Lesnar is the crucial peice of the WWE puzzle though, and I don't see anyone filling it but him.

Marty janety, to feud with HBK again.
Jeff jarret, to feud with Y2J & Christian.

Jeff Jarrett is having fun being NWA-TNA's Triple H, so he won't come back. Here's who I would love to see come back.

X-Pac
Jeff Hardy (after rehab, coming back)
Godfather, the guy not the gimmick
Austin (possible)
The original NWO (Hogan, Hall, and Nash)
Randy Savage (just to see some new against old matches)

Guys they need to bring to the WWE

Sting
AJ Styles

That's my opinion on this stuff.

I wish The Rock would come back full-time. I really enjoyed it when he came out to aid Eugene!

And what about the epic tag team APA (not!), JBL should leave now...and NEVER return!

Anyway, back to the subject...It'd be cool to see Taka Michinoku return, Kai En Tai were an OK team.

And what about all the legends of the past...Million Dollar Man, Honky Tonk Man, Randy Savage and so on....I could continue on!

What on earth are with you poeple wanting back all theses dinosaurs from the 80's..

have you lost your minds? that was 15 to 20 years ago, guess what, that means those superstars are YES, 20 years older too..

Hogan is in great shape for a guy pushing 50, Savage is still in good shape but he hasn't seen aany real in ring time in many years and i'm sure would stink up the WWE much like Steiner did when he was brough in and hyped like the second coming.

IF WWE brings in anyone it sould be guys from the Indies and not from the grave.

I'm sure a lot of them would be better then Flair is, hes more of a dinasaur then anyone from the 80's.

As for Randy, he has really buffed out since hes days in the WWE, did you see him in Spiderman?

Come on man, Flair at least has had constant in ring action the last 5 years.

Savage is still in good shape but he hasn't seen any real in ring time in many years.

Like i stated he's in great physical shape, but how is his in-ring skills. From that I know he hasn't competed in a ring since his NWO days in WCW. and that was likw 97' or 98'.

And acting in Spiderman is one thing doing the real bumps on the mats night in and night out is different.

I still don't know how the hell Flair keeps his pace in the ring at his age?

He's not World Championship material, but he still gives it his all out there.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Indeed thats who should end Ric Flairs career.

Without divine intervention...Not seeing it.

Drcoop from the show me state...You just "showed"me the best choice dude.

It was always in the back of my mind but I never said it because it seemed so damned impossible...Im glad you said it man.I wish the end of Flairs career could go beyond profit, business and short term gimmick.

Boooooooooooooo!!!!Everyone else but Sting....Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!Sting!!!

Edit:sorry for going off topic but this crap eats a wrestling fan alive!!!!

Tim and Ollie....You are so lucky you are Batista fans...thats all I can say lol.

The way WWE would look at it from thier $en$e is that he would BE THE MAN because he beat THE MAN...In reality Sting is probably ready to cash his wrestling chips in as well.

drcoop...Your post was a one liner but it had power.

Ummmmm...thats the reason you would bring Sting to the WWE right?

He was never employed by the WWE and pretty much stated in stone he would never work for the WWE...but....In Rics case you would think he would bend his own rules momentarilly concidering Flair gave Sting the PUSH that made him STING.Like HHH is trying to do for Cena....ooops.

I will finish by saying this...Cena could have the line right now..."To be the man you have to beat the man.

WWE....Wrestlemania 24.....There will be One man and One bitch.

Whos the bitch?

Quite honestly....I have no clue...If HHH wins Cena will not be a bitch that is for God Damned Sure...but HHH will surely be Cenas Bitch...and I will HATE HIM FOR LETTING HIS MILLIONS OF FANS EAT CENA SH*T!!!!

If Cena wins I say....screw HHH and screw DX.............and screw CENA!!!!

and....Wooooooooooooooooooo!!! to Ric Flair...He always was THE MAN!!!

Hogan was the American....Flair was and is THE MAN!!!

This Wrestlemania is a landmark event.

This is like a muslims trip to mecca for me.

If Cena wins you will hear the Boooooooooooos for 1000 miles.

NO....THEY WILL CIRCLE THE DAMN GLOBE!

and HHH will be blamed...this time.

and I think he knows it.

If HHH loses then perhaps he should retire too.
