When Shawn Michaels showed up for RAW two weeks ago for his return since going down with injury, sources say Vince started "chewing him out", making fun of his attitude and clothing, among other things. This all went down in front of other guys in the lockeroom and to everyone's surprise, Shawn fired back at Vince, putting him in his place. HBK made it clear in front of everyone that he won't be disrespected and won't be treated like a rookie.
Witnesses were shocked and amused that Shawn stood up to Vince and humbled him in front of everyone in the lockeroom. One source says nobody was as shocked as Stephanie McMahon.
McMahon and Michaels have had a rocky relationship for sometime now and because Shawn is who he is, this shouldn't effect his status with WWE. When Shawn agreed to return, he made it known that he wanted control over his schedule to spend more time with his family. Even though Shawn returned to action a month ahead of schedule, he still has some heat with McMahon.
