Scene opens at a house show a few nights before Christmas Carnage. A group of carolers walk out onto the stage. It begins to snow inside the arena.
Chris Knoxx:
What is this about? Folks, its snowing in the building!
The carolers line up in two rows and open their hymnal books. Begin to sing in the tune of Oh Christmas Tree.
Carolers:
Oh Terror-Dome, Oh Terror-Dome, your chains are strong and mighty.
Your door will be locked and your walls filled
with weapons from bottom to top
they will be use to tear some limbs
Your walls will be painted with blood.
Oh Terror-Dome, oh Terror-Dome Carnage comes this Christmas
Edward Freeze will come that night
to pulverize the deathtrap
and to freeze the dangerous man in his tracks
To become the new Champion
Oh Terror-Dome, Oh Terror-Dome, May you all Freeze in…
Edward Freeze(interrupting over the speakers):
Hell!
The lights go out as a thunderstorms can be heard over the speakers and something hitting the stage causing the carolers to run screaming. “Warrior of the Ice” plays. A bright blue light hits the stage and we can see the snow has turned to hail. Edward Freeze emerges thru the storm.
Chris Knoxx:
Great, ruining a very nice holiday moment!
Freeze is wearing a tattered red robe with thick fur lining and Christmas leafy crown. As the blue lights light up the ramp, Nemesis, wearing a loose black skirt with a gold chain around it, tight black shirt and black thigh high boots, is in the ring.
Nemesis:
Ladies and Gentlemen, presenting the Frozen Phenom, the frozen future of WcE and soon to be World Heavyweight Champion, Edward Freeze!
Freeze climbs his way into the ring via the top rope. He walks to the center to Nemesis and embraces her. The lights fade back up and music dies down. Freeze takes Nemesis by the chin and gives her a peck on the lips. The boos fill the arena, almost deafening.
Johnny Michaels:
It looks like the crowd won’t let up, but Freeze and Jana don’t care.
After a few moments the booing dies down, Nemesis presents the mic to Freeze, he takes it and thanks her. He turns to address the crowd and has a big smile on his face.
Edward Freeze:
Thank you. Thank you! What a warm reception for me and my lovely Nemesis. I know how much it means to all to have our presents felt for this holiday season.
Chris Knoxx:
That’s not the kind of reception, I’m hearing.
Edward Freeze:
Lucky for you all, I am feeling very festive this year…as you can see. In years past, this would be my least favorite holiday, because it usually means another year of pain and torment. But this year…this year will be different. This year, Christmas will have a whole new meaning for me. (Looks at Nemesis)For us.
The audience boos again. Some ‘ICE CHEST’ chants.
(Looks back at the audience)This year, instead of me getting pain, I will be the one handing out the pain this year. And I am feeling very, very generous. There will be Carnage this season for those two. A present of pain for James Whitman…
‘DEATHTRAP’ chants fill the arena.
And there will be a package of torment for one Ken Forte.
‘FORTE’ chants.
Not only that, as a gift to me, I will become the new World Heavyweight Champion. Because this year, tis the season to be Freeze!
The audience boos, while Freeze and Nemesis just laugh.
Nothing is going to stop me from being the Champion. Not Forte. Not Whitman. Not the JESTERS! NOT THE JOLLY FATMAN HIMSELF!!!! Nothing is going to keep me from having a Merry Christmas this year!
Audience chant ‘FREEZE SUCKS.’
Forte…Whitman…You two will have a very Frozen X-mas. To anyone else who might get the slightest idea of getting involved, I will share with you what Ken and James will be getting this Christmas. No one will stand between me and my destiny. What belongs to me. For this Christmas, a Freeze is coming! You just got your Freeze Warning.
Freeze drops the mic and Warrior hits the speakers. Freeze raises his arms in his robed glory. Then makes the belt around waist gesture.
Johnny Michaels:
Freeze has a lot of confidence going into Christmas Carnage.
Chris Knoxx:
And why shouldn’t he? He is on a major roll going into Christmas Carnage. Forte and Whitman do have their work cut out for them if they want to make this very merry Christmas for themselves and their family.
Johnny Michaels:
They should be careful tho, because Freeze is all business.
Freeze and Nemesis leave the ring and head up the ramp. Turn back for one last glorious pose. As the scene fades to black.
Chris Knoxx:
