Brock Lesner, Randy Orton, John Cena and Batista all arrived from OVW around the same time but which one do you thing is going to be the most successful in the long-run?

Wow, a decent topic. Whats going on? Batista has no long run, he's like 38 already. Orton is already a success and Cena's gimmick is bound to get old eventually. Other than the gimmick, he has no real great wrestling skills.

I'd have to agree and give my vote to Randy Orton. His run in Evolution has given him the charisma, he has a superstar look about him, he's a third generation star, and basically, the only way is up!!

Brock Lesnar would have been great if his push wasn't all over so fast..and of course, if he'd stayed with the WWE!

John Cena is massively over with the fans, despite not being too great in the ring, but his gimmick has got to wear thin sooner or later.

And Batista, he's moulded how Vince likes them...and I can see him in with a chance of holding the World Championship one day, but he's probably the oldest out of the lot, and has least time...

got to agree with Ad when he said that Batista won't have a long run, brock is still a posibility to return in a fewe years, but the fans wont exactly welcome him back with open arms. but it seems like the two guys who are spearheading the next generation are Randy and Cena, but IMO his gimmick as the 3rd gen superstar, and the fact that he's on the better program with better people around him, Cena has to be favourite to be the most successful

at this point it is orton cause he won the belt and with his last two wins really proved himself. yet, i think batista was until then cause his aggression and tag abilities were very impressive. i can honestly say batista is always there to save flair's ass or another teammates ass when they need him. and almost 90 percent of the time he comes out from nowhere to save the match for his team.

but now the win over benoit i say orton has finally beat a seasoned wrestler who is damn good. shawn and foley, both who are still great but hurt and significantly old, were not enough in my book. but with the foley win i was shock to see orton go over.
the rock win was also impressive, but it was still a 2 on 3 match with Batista in the match to save everyone's ass.

at this point i would have too say that orton has the potenchel to do anything and a big guy like batista can go along way and cena is one of the most popular guy in the wwe but his gimic will Eventually git old but i would put my money on orton going the longest in the wwe i don't like him but its true.

Lesnar. He's the best wrestler of the bunch, and although he lacks the charisma of Cena or Orton, he is much better in the ring than the two of them. He's a 3 time World Champion, which none of the others can even compare to. Cena has only had the US Title when the rest of his competition was crap, Batista hasn't proven he can do anything but tag team, in which he didn't do much, and Orton just won his first world title.

with all due respect but how can people choose RANDY ORTON as the best development wrestler in WWE history...?
no way dude...he is a freaking joke, has no style, no love for the sport.
JOHN CENA is the man all the way...he has style, loves the sport, the main man for the job....plus he will be very big in WWE. remember my words.

I will go for Cena although I think Orton and Cena will be like the new Savage and Hogan, ruling WWE for years and having the crowds in their palms for ages.

Why did folk like Benjamin, Haas, Jordan and most of the other new talent get misse din here though? Alot of those guys are quite talented although they dont have the push of either Randy or Cena.

Why do folk always moan about Cena's wrestling ability? the guy wrestled very well when he first appeared and done alot of holds and wear down stuff that really brung back memories of late eighties to early ninties stuff. His style isnt and probably wont be molded on Angle and the Benoit. But I honestly wouldnt like to see a promotion FULL of those types of wrestlers.....variation makes it far more interesting.

BTW Orton is pretty basic in the ring himself.....technically proficcent but it is very basic at times as well. I just dont get why Cena is so badly scorned because he likes to brawl rather than put holds on folk. Actually it fits the gimmick quite well too....

Brocks ring physiology was poor and his life long feud with the Big show was the worth thing on WWE TV that year. The only time Brock looked like a star was when he was in the ring with a legend like Hulk Hogan, The Rock, The Undertaker or Kurt Angle. The bottom line is a wrestler can be given any title but he must urn respect, this is something Lesner never did. Randy Orton on the other hand has worked hard and has developed into the star he now is, unlike Lesner who worked the same match for two years (Kick in the belly, F5 pin).
