I was just reading the WWE website, and I happened to notice that Mick Foleys name is still on the RAW roster. Is there a particular reason for this? I about burst into tears when they took Bill's and Steve's name off there, But Foley's been gone since WM as well, so why is his name still on there? Unless........hmmm, you know I think Eugene COULD always use another friend in the WWE. But still, if they're going to bring back Foley, why can't they give me my stone cold back? This saddens me. =-( Any thoughts?

Firstly Mick Foley didn't leave at wrestlemania, he left at backlash after the match with Randy Orton, this may be why he is still on this list. Another reason could be that i don't think he has offically left yet unlike Stone Cold. Or it could just be that the WWE.com has slow people running itand they haven't taken it off yet.
Hope i answered your questions if not well i'm stumped.

You have to be kidding right? Eugene sucked as the GM. The GM doesn't have to wrestle, they are meant to have good mic skills, and that's a thing Eugene does not have. Eugene sucked so badly, he made the GM spot look like a joke. I hope the WWE never do anything like that again, I just hated it. Musical chairs on a wrestling show?! Whassupwidat?!

The most noticable thing about this thread is the use of pritty and tho as actual words in this thread...........for pity's sake guys type the actual words.......pritty is just poor English in my opinion.

As for the topic......it's pointless, both guys are not going to add to the talent on Raw or Smackdown.

Both guys have publicly stated they will not continue on a full time basis so both qualify as a pointless waste of time. Neither will add to the product and neither will have a future.

Foley really couldnt pull a technical match off and Austin sadly will not be able to.

Bottom line is that neither guy could addto the in rng talent on a full time basis.

you have I guess kind of a point, but you know, lately, wrestling isn't just about ring skill, it's about who pulls in the most money, and please, just face it, Steve is a favorite, and so is Mick. If it were about who's actually the best "technical" wrestlers we would be dealing with a monday night show about jericho and benoit, and a thursday night show with nothing but angle. People want to see their favorites and the legends, not show ponies. In short, it's wrestling entertainment, not wrestling repetitiveness.

i agree 100% with spextasy hbk there it is entertainment, and eugene entertains the crowed 3 16 entertains the crowed mick entertains the crowed, you think the crowed errupt when the rock shows up because his ring skills, uhhhh no its because he is an entertainer with his words and actions as well as wrestling.

its not all about the wrestling ability.

YEs but when one of the guys cant actually wrestle anymore because he is retired through injury then tell me how it helps the furture talent get over if he takes up one quarter of the air time because he draws?

Foley is a quality guy and might actually help put guys over, like he did with Orton, but his main issue in life right now is his family and novel writing. He will continue to show up untill he stops writing books and doesnt need the free publicity to launch it.

I would rather see Mick come back cause Stone Cold can't wrestle anymore. Also, Foley deserves to kick the **** out of Randy (in a legit match) before he could consider tag teaming or just being in his corner for support.

Mick is crazy. Isn't that enough. I really hate how WWE let Mick go with two losses to Evolution.

Yeah but Mick isn't really a guy who is all that concerned with how his losses on TV make him look as a person.

He knows what the whole sport is about and realizes that the product is what is important not the wrestlers pride.

If I had to make the choice I would go with Foley. He can still wrestle and he also has the elusive draw power so many guys search for. I would like to see him actually win a few and if they did get him back I would hope that he stays for a longer stint than he has done in the past.

Austen can't wrestle anymore, and Foley isn't really talking to the WWE much anymore, he is mad about Flairs comments in his book I think. Either way I know he isn't on the best of terms.

I would love to see mick come back, but I don't like that he always loses. He has always been screwed when it comes to wrestling. He won the WWF championship and held it for like a month after all the work he did.
